  • Berlin Tourist Information - General Information for tourists (eg. Hotels, Events etc.) Also in Spanish, French, Japanese and more!
  • Berlin airport - There are two (quite small) airports: Tegel and Schönefeld. This website informs you about both. There is also continually updated information on arrivals and departures.
    The new central airport BER is still under construction and will  perhaps be opened in 2017 or later.

  • Rooms and apartments  - Uniplaces is an online platform to book furnished rooms, studios or apartments. It enables students, interns and young professionals to easily and securely find furnished accommodation. 
  • BADI - another online platform that benefits from the housing shortage in Berlin. Badi arranges shared rooms and apartments. The site is clear and informative.
  • Accommodation in shared flats (WG - Zimmer) - In this Website you can look for a room in shared flats (WG) in almost all German cities without paying comission. Be careful! Students told us, that there are also cheaters offering rooms.

  • Die TAZ -  Founded more than 30 years ago but still THE newspaper for the more progressive crowd.
  • Berliner Tagesspiegel - Berlin`s largest daily newspaper. Born in West Berlin in the times of  the cold war and still fighting against East Berlin socialists, dirt on the streets and graffiti in subways.
  • Berlin Online - Here you'll find the newest editions of the city magazine TIP and the daily newspaper  Berliner Zeitung as well as up to date information and schedule of events.  
  • Exberliner (Berlin in English) - Monthly English-language magazine for Berlin. In English only and always up to date.
  • Radio in Berlin - Multicult FM is an alternative local radio. Multicult plays music from all over the world and wants "to bring together all ethnic groups through our radio shows". They are also online - listen to it!

  • Museumsportal: Berlin has more than 170 museums, some public and some private, some famous and some unknown. The Museumsportal Berlin is the common website of the museums, exhibitions, memorials and palaces which gives you “recommendations, up to date news and a thematic guide to all of Berlin's museums“.
  • Karneval der Kulturen - Three day party in june! The Love Parade is gone - no problem. In its place is a three day parade of people, musik and costumes from all corners of the world!
  • Zitty Magazin - The online version of Berlin's bi-weekly city magazine with a complete list of events in Berlin. You can find whatever you look for:  cinema programme, flea markets or concerts .
  • SO36 - legendary music club in the area of Kreuzberg with a long history. SO36 was originally focused largely on punk music. Today SO36 organizes concerts as well as panel discussions, public readings and and karaoke nights or the oriental gay party „Gayhane”.
  • Kulturbrauerei - A former brewery was transformed into a huge cultural and event center. Every week concerts, parties and more.
  • Volksbuehne - One of Berlin´s biggest and most popular theatres with a political (left wing) approach. Classical theatre works meet modern directors who never avoid a little scandal.
  • Berlinale - One week cinema total  - the international Film Festival in february
  • JazzFest Berlin -Berlin's annual international jazz festival.
